Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies
I LOVE chocolate chip cookies. And these super low sugar and paleo Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies are my new favorite! All you need is 5 minutes to prep them, and 10 minutes to bake them. This amazing recipe was contributed by my friend Michi, @mindfulmichilaz on Instagram! And the only sweetener she uses is the chocolate chips, and they’re totally grain free, gluten free, and paleo.
I’m the Cookie Monster
I swear I broke a cookie eating record several times baking with my friends when I was growing up 😉 And you bet if I could be any Sesame Street character, I’d be the Cookie Monster! Basically, I was known by my friends for my homemade cookies and they were always requested for parties and sleepovers. The Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
These cookies are SO clean and healthy! Here are the 7 ingredients:
- Almond flour
- Almond butter
- Coconut oil
- Chocolate chips
- Baking powder
- Sea salt
It’s All About the Dough
Lick the spoon, lick the mixer wands, lick the scooper, scrape the bowl, lick the spatula… You know how it goes! You can tell a lot about a good cookie by the taste of the dough. If half of the batter doesn’t even make it to the oven, then you know you did something right 😉 And eating the cookie dough is honestly my favorite part of making homemade cookies. 99% of the time, my cookies will go through the “dough” test. The better the dough, the better the cookies!

You Only Need 15 Minutes
These cookies couldn’t be more delicious! They taste deliciously decadent – but they’re so simple. The worst part about making cookies? Making the cookies. There’s always such a mess and then you have to WAIT for them? Ugh! 😉 Don’t worry, these cookies are the perfect solution.
These are so simple! All you need is:
- 15 minutes
- One bowl
- 7 ingredients
- One pan
- Parchment paper for easy cleanup!
Who doesn’t love having healthy homemade cookies! Some of my favorite memories growing up include baking homemade chocolate chip cookies with my mom. Baking and cooking are by far my favorite labors of love ever! And these really aren’t work – but shhhhhhh, no one has to know!

7-Ingredient Paleo Almond Flour Chocolate Chip CookiesPrint This
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 heaping tbsp. of creamy almond butter (or your favorite nut butter)
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- Chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Mix in the egg and almond butter. Add the coconut oil, then stir until the batter is nice and smooth and mixed completely. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them evenly spaced out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten out the cookies slightly by pressing down gently with the palm of your hand.
- Bake 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of your cookie.
I used mini dark chocolate chips, but feel free to use your favorite kind of chocolate chips.
